Production Surface mount PCB assembly:
As well as offering low volume prototype manufacture we offer medium to high volume manufacture. When undertaking the Surface mount assembly process, it is imperative that placement accuracy and speed is always balanced on every batch. For this reason, we only use surface mount machines with laser alignment and automatic fiducial recognition. Our machines are capable of placing a minimum of 0402 package size and a Minimum Lead Pitch of 0.5mm. But no compromises for speed needs to be made to achieve the required high accuracy because our machines place 5,000 components per hour. This is more than sufficient for medium to high volume batches of most products.
We have solder paste printing capabilities which go down to a fine pitch footprint which matches our placement accuracy as well as boasting double-sided printing, it is important that this step is done correctly whilst undergoing the surface mount process. So we have perfected and finely tuned our process over the whole of our 20+ years of experience in the industry. All manufactured product is carefully inspected under high optical magnification and electrically tested, to ensure a set standard is adhered to throughout.
